Explore a galaxy in a stolen ship, with JX-9, your onboard AI and self-appointed DJ. Mine asteroids, land in cities to trade and upgrade your ship, and take on Guild missions while evading bounty hunters. Play solo or with up to four players in local split screen.
Steam Planned for Q1 2027 on Windows, macOS and Linux. The browser version is free to play now.
Explore, mine and trade
Travel between star systems through wormholes. Break asteroids apart to collect metal, crystal and deuterium. Weapons and boost share heat capacity, so watch your temperature during a fight.
Land in cities to trade resources at the Exchange, upgrade your ship at the Shipyard, or accept delivery, recovery and supply missions from the Guild. Completing missions earns rewards and unlocks better jobs.
Bounty hunters and wildlife
Staying in a sector and completing Guild jobs raises your wanted level, attracting bounty hunters. Move to other sectors and let the heat die down.
You'll also encounter reefs growing on asteroids, creatures that attach to your hull, and pods of space whales. Some are harmless; others can damage your ship.
Local multiplayer
Up to four players can explore together in split screen. Each additional player needs a controller. Friendly fire is enabled by default and can be changed in the settings.
Wireframe or pixel graphics
Choose glowing wireframe graphics or a dithered pixel style. You can switch between them during play. Read how the two renderers work.
