Every track is a pure function of one short string. A composer writes the score from it, note by note, and a synth plays what the composer wrote. Hand the same seed back and the same song comes out, on any device, forever.
That is what lets a station be a counter instead of a library. It plays unradio#1, then unradio#2, and on, and the titles and the DJ's patter come off the same arithmetic. Nothing repeats because nothing was ever stored to repeat.
Four genres, each with its own mode, tempo, chord vocabulary and set of voices: synthwave, psychedelic rock, berlin school and lofi hip-hop. A track runs about two minutes, picks its own key, and hands over to the next one on a note the two keys share.
Play, pause, mute, skip. Anything you like, you can export as an audio file and send on. It keeps playing with the screen locked, with the usual controls on the lock screen.
The engine ran on a neural decoder and 62 MB of samples once. A composer that is a pure function of its seed replaced both, and the app got smaller and the music got better.
